We dance here the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.

Broad & Vine
We are appreciative to Laurie Parks, who open Broad & Vine to us shortly after Covid so we would hve a place to dance while so many places were shut down.
Camden Shrine Club
First I will give you some information on what we do each time we have one of our dances and then more information on our charities and how you can cotribute to each.
We support Youth. We give to the Camden Shrine Club because of their unselfish devotion to raising money and helping two Shriners Hospitals in South Carolina care for children.
We support Samaritians Purse Shoebox Ministry because of the work they do to get a shoebox of gifts to children at Christmas who otherwise may not have a Christmas and a chance to hear of the love of God.
Scholarship Presentations
We offer a scholarship program for seniors in Kershaw County Schools to apply for.
Here are a couple of our students that have earned our scholarships.
Madision Thompson is receiving her Degree from Clemson in May 2023.
Ryan Dabbs received his Degree from the University of South Carolina in 2022.
We were proud to be a part of these young peoples lives.
Scholarship Recipient
Gracie Outlaw was one of our first scholarship recipients of our club. She received her Degree in 2022 from the College of Charleston.
We had a break in our scholarship program in 2020 -2021 due to Covid. We are now ready to get back in full force to fund all of our charities. We are looking for those who would like to be a part of all of our charities and help work in receiving donations to fully fund all our charities. Your help would be greatly appreciated and you would be working along side a great group of people who love children.
Samantha's Purse "Shoebox Ministry"
We are so glad to have Samantha's Purse "Shoebox Ministry" as one of the charities that our club supports.
It began because of our Vice President- Dianne Thompson who always supported this through her church. She said this was also something that her mother loved doing when she was living and she wanted to continue this ministry in her memory.
It fit our purpose so closley because it was something for children.
The photo to the left is when our members came together just to pack the shoeboxes that they supplied themselves. We believe with your support through this website that we can provide a 1,000 or more shoeboxes to children for Christmas 2023.

The Historic Camden Shag Club
